All in all I think the project went well. We had to keep waiting for a time when we could get into the alley when workers were not present. They had the road blocked for most of the time repairing a fountain or something of the sort. I'm thinking I may keep this up and do random small projects and posting it to the guerilla gardening main website @ http://www.guerrillagardening.org/
Those guys are gnarly over though but they appreciate any efforts to keep the idea that a greener life is the best life from the present to the future.

The Final Results
The spots
So after looking for areas that needed a bit of gardening, we decided on the following due to their close proximity to each other and the fact that people walk by here on a daily basis.
The first area was the a light pillar:

This was I think our favorite spot out of the four we chose.
The second spot we chose came from an idea online that we tweaked a little bit to fit the area we were working in.

Our next spot was just sticking out there and by the looks of it hardly ever used. It looks like its begging to be "potted" and have some greener days.

And here was our main part of the project: The gate. The original idea was to let a friend of ours into the gate so we can turn the whole inside and outside into a garden, unfortunately when we decided to complete the project our friend was not available so we had to work with what we had. We decided to keep it small and not plot up the entire area around and after careful thought we realized we would need a ton more dirt/grass to give the area the actual results we wanted.

Outreach Program o,O
So I was thinking this project is going to be more involved with the public than I initially thought, after seeing what places I would eventually be "gardening". So with people coming in contact with this "public art" I figured that some curious people might want to know where about they can find other stuff, or just even keep track with progress. So keeping that in mind I came up with a card design that will be placed into each "garden".
Here's the initial concept:

Brainstorming
This morning I did some mock set-ups using Photoshop.

This is one of the main ideas I have came up with that includes placing patches of grass down the divider lines in the road.
Another idea that I found was this on

I'm not sure if Florence has these type of drain systems but it would be a good idea.
Project goals:
-Bringing more green to a concrete world we live in.
-Making a dirty concrete world more visual appealing.
